Back in 2012, Sherley Altidor made the bold decision to chop off her hair and embrace her natural beauty. What followed was confusion, curiosity, and a deep desire to learn. The resources online were scattered, the guidance unclear—and Sherley found herself wishing there was one place she could trust.
So she built it.
That vision became Femme Naturelle, a vibrant community where women connected over hair, skincare, motherhood, mindset, wellness, and real life. The space quickly grew beyond beauty—it became a trusted sisterhood, a resource, and a voice for women navigating life in all its layers.
And now? That voice is getting louder.
Today, that original spark lives on in The Sherley Show, a podcast and platform that continues to support women—but now with a fresh focus:

Born in Haiti and based in New Jersey, Sherley is the bold voice behind The Sherley Show, a podcast and community created to empower women to step out of fear and into faith—so they can thrive in life, love, and leadership.
After years of helping women through her platform Femme Naturelle, Sherley is expanding her impact. Through powerful conversations, real-life stories, and practical teaching, she now equips women with tools to build confidence, strengthen relationships, and walk boldly in their purpose.

A look back on the past decade
A leader was born: Born in Port-Tu-Prince, Haiti and raised by my grandparents, aunts and uncles. If I had to go back in time to my childhood, it would be the first 4 1/2 years of my life.
1983
Journey from Haiti to New Jersey - Little did this girl know her life was about to significantly change. Life in New Jersey is going to be an interesting journey.
1987
The year I met my husband - My love, my person, we started our journey in life together. Creating a family, purchasing a house and the ride still continues.
1997
Joined the Army: I joined the military at the primary age of 17 head to bootcamp in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri little did I know this decision will help shape the start of my life.
2000
My daughter is born - Our first child, words can not describe the joy we felt creating our family. Our little girl!
2007
humble beginnings!
28 years together!
My son is born: Our son, they are 10 months apart. We were moving fast...haha. A surprise that is completely worth it.
2008
Femme Naturelle was created: Making the decision to cut my hair short inspired me to create a community to bring women together and share stories.
2012
The Femme Parler podcast is launched - It was time to get my voice out and move past the writing on the website. Also an opportunity to share life experiences and be a light to other women.
2021
Over 100 episodes posted - The opportunity for me and several other guests to share stories. I am elated to have interviewed over 50 guests.
2024
Rebranded from Femme Parler to Sherley's Show. Plus, the start of my coaching program - I am ready to help women entrepreneurs add a podcast to their business.
