Welcome back to Sherley’s Show.
If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, what’s been happening behind the scenes, or what’s next, this post is your official update. It’s been a minute, and for good reason.
Over the last few years, life has shifted in ways I never expected. In November of 2022, I lost my brother. Six weeks later, I lost my aunt. Those losses changed everything for me, personally, emotionally, and creatively. What was meant to be a short break turned into a necessary hiatus as I allowed myself the space to grieve, heal, and regroup.

Before my brother passed away, I was already feeling burnt out. While I run the podcast, produce the content, and appear on camera, it’s still very much a one-woman operation. Behind the scenes, I coordinate interviews, oversee editing, manage show notes, and handle the website, all while working full-time as a flight attendant for a major airline.
It was a lot.
I originally took a break knowing that most listeners wouldn’t even notice because I pre-record episodes well in advance. But grief has its own timeline. After losing multiple family members within a short period, I needed to step away completely, not just from the podcast, but from the spotlight.
That break lasted longer than planned, covering most of 2023 and 2024. During that time, I did post a few older, previously recorded episodes that simply needed editing and publishing. But creatively, I was quiet and that quiet was necessary.
Now, after allowing myself time to recharge and reflect, I’m ready to move forward.
And with that forward motion comes change.
The first big change? The podcast name.
The podcast will no longer be called Femme Parler Podcast. While Femme Naturelle will remain in the background as the holding LLC, the show itself is officially evolving into Sherley’s Show.
This name better reflects what the podcast has always been at its core, conversational, honest, and personal.
You’ll start seeing updates across the website, branding, and visuals. Some sections of the current site will be removed or streamlined, and a redesigned version will be revealed in the coming weeks.
While the look and structure are changing, the heart of the show remains untouched.
You’ll still be able to:
That part isn’t going anywhere.
As part of the restructuring:
I’ll also be introducing podcast coaching, something many of you have been asking about, along with self-paced coaching programs, expected to roll out in about six months.
To avoid burnout and protect my energy, the podcast will now air twice a month, on Tuesdays.
This schedule allows me to:
Episodes will feature conversations with:
We’ll continue talking openly about relationships, trust, sex, heartbreak, self-love, motherhood, friendship, and everything in between. Nothing is scripted. Nothing is off-limits. If you know me, you know I’m an open book.
One of the biggest updates for 2025: full video episodes.
Instead of just snippets, you’ll now be able to watch the entire 40–60 minute podcast experience. Once the new website launches, I’ll be back with another update showing you exactly how everything looks and works.
These last two years were about survival, healing, and clarity. Now, 2025 is about momentum.
I’m grateful for everyone who stuck around, checked in, and asked where I’ve been, especially my flight attendant friends who always remind me how missed this space was.
I’m still here. I just needed time.
And now? I’m ready to get this show back on the road.
If you want to continue the conversation:
I can’t wait to reconnect with you and bring you along for this next chapter of Sherley’s Show.
Talk soon,
Sherley

Welcome back to Sherley’s Show. I am your host Sherley. Our discussions are going to be ranging from personal life experiences, infidelity, trust, forgiveness, sex, heartbreak, self-love, and so much more. Let’s dive in, pull up a seat, make sure you’re cozy, and get ready to be challenged and encouraged while you learn with me, your virtual girlfriend. Hello, everyone. Good to see everyone back.
00:30
It’s nice to be behind or in front of the camera and in front of the mic. It’s been a minute. It’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything. Now, for those of you who do know that the podcast is still up and running, whatever platform you use to listen to your podcasts, it’s still up. It’s still running. You can still go to the website. I’m going to share my screen that way you guys can see there’s going to be a lot of changes taking place.
00:59
And I’ll give you guys a little update of what’s been going on. A little chit chat to see what Sherley’s been up to, what’s happening in the background. Hopefully everyone has been good. ah Within the last few years, life has changed drastically for myself. My brother passed away in…
01:26
November of 2022. And when he passed away, everything was basically put on hold before he passed away. I was already starting to feel a little burnt out because as we know, I do have help operating the podcast, even though I’m running it, I’m producing it and I’m shooting everything out there. But I’m high. I’m looking for people to do the interviews. I have a writer who does my show notes.
01:54
and all the writing for me for the website. I have someone who edits the videos for me. I’ve done it in the past and it is a lot. So it was time for me to delegate. And right before my brother passed away, I started to feel extremely burnt out. For those of you who may not know, I actually work as a flight attendant for a major airline. So it wasn’t just the podcast I was doing. I just got burnt out and I took a break.
02:22
And originally no one would have even realized that I took a break because I pre-recorded a lot of things. So I’m always ahead of the game. What ended up happening? I took a break then from the break and the death of my brother six weeks later followed by the death of my aunt caused me to go on a long hiatus that I was not planning to do. So that resulted in me stepping back.
02:51
for a few years, which included the whole 2023, the whole 2024. And now I’m back in motion for 2025. Last year, I posted some old episodes that I had recorded that needed to be posted. So if you go to the podcast, you’ll see some episodes that were posted last year, but they were already prerecorded and they just needed to be edited and posted up. But
03:21
Now that I have allowed myself to regroup, recoup, rejuvenate, recharge, I’m back in motion again. And there’s going to be a lot of things changing with Fum Palais Podcast. The first thing that we’re going to change is the name. So it’s not going to be Fum Palais Podcast anymore. Fum Naturel is going to be in the background.
03:50
acting as the holding limited liability company and the name is going to be changing now to Sherley’s show. You’re going to start seeing the changes taking place on the website itself. As you can see here, this is what the website looks like now. I am going to do another video. m
04:15
In the next few weeks showing you what the new website is going to actually be looking like, you know, this is the old website. There’s a lot of things that are going to be going away also on the website. So the other thing that’s going to be going away is the Facebook group that I had and I was running. That’s going to be going away because right now I don’t feel as though the Facebook group is necessary and there are different
04:44
platforms that I can utilize if I ever want to do something to get people’s attention. Instagram is one of them because I’m very active. I try to be very active on Instagram. Social media, I have a love hate relationship with. Eventually my goal is to get someone to do my marketing for social media because sometimes I just don’t want to do it. Y’all. It’s a lot. It’s a lot. It’s a lot. But, um, the Facebook group is going away.
05:13
um The color scheme is staying the same, but there’s going to be lot of updates taking place. As you know from that Charell, this name is going to be changed to Sherley Show. We’re going to streamline things a bit more. um I’m excited to see the new changes to come so you guys can see what the new website is going to look like. um
05:43
That’s going to be real fun. That’s going to be real fun. There’s still going to be an opportunity for you to submit questions. If you go to submit your story, you can always that’s not going to change. You can always submit your story and it will be read on air by me, your host, or you can also apply to be a guest on the podcast. That’s not going to change.
06:12
And the other thing I’m also incorporating that’s going to be coming, because I have a lot of questions about this from different people, is going to be some podcast coaching. So I’m glad to be rolling that out soon. And also there’s going to be a self-paced coaching that’s going to be rolling out and that’s going to be in about six months. So I know I’ve been gone for some time and
06:41
These two years, I needed to allow myself to just regroup, think about what I really wanted to do as much as I love the podcast with my brother passing away, my aunt passing away and then Khalif’s brother passing away. All this happened within 13 months. I just needed to step away from the limelight because the podcast does keep me very busy. Now, the other thing that’s changing, too, is I’m only going to be posting twice a month.
07:10
because now it’s going to allow me to focus more on the coaching and to focus more also on the marketing aspect of the coaching to allow myself not to get burnt out. Because as you know, I’m doing other things in the background and this is almost a one man operation. So because it’s a one man operation, I have to make sure I keep myself afloat and I don’t pass out or burn out from doing absolutely too much. So.
07:40
I’m going to be posting on Tuesdays. It’s going to be twice a month. It’s going to be me and my girl, Kira, and also Kalief myself. And we’re going to be talking about different issues, different topics, various different things. We always encourage you guys to come along during the conversation, whether it’s in the comments, when I post up on social media or on the actual website itself, you can comment underneath.
08:08
The blog post that I put up Also, you can listen wherever you can listen on iTunes Apple podcasts audible Spotify it’s also available on YouTube and the big big change that is coming now There’s going to be video available for the full 40 to 60 minutes of the podcast. So there’s
08:37
going to be visually available. There were snippets of visuals available, but now there is going to be actual visuals available. So once the website is done, I’m going to be back on here doing another video. So you’re probably going to see another clip so you can see what the new website looks like, all the changes taking place. And you know, we want you to join this journey and be part of it with us because.
09:05
That’s what the Sherley’s Show is about. It’s conversational. It’s free flow. Nothing is scripted. Kira and I, Kalief and I, we’re just gonna sit behind this camera, talk to you about all different types of topics, relationships, sex, friendship, motherhood, ah different types of things. You name it, we talking about it. If you know me, you know I’m an open book and I’m pretty much comfortable talking about a lot of topics. I don’t think…
09:35
too much is taboo when it comes to me. But anyhow, I am excited to be back in motion. I’m excited to get things going again. I’m excited to start posting again. You know, 2025 has been an awesome year. I am recovered from the morning that I was going through.
10:05
and I’m ready to get this show back on the road, which is, I think, a great thing, a great thing. And I want you guys to definitely rejoin me on that journey. But I will talk to you guys soon. You’re going to see more of my face, more of my face. And I know some of you guys miss me, especially some of my flight attendant friends. When they see me, they’re like, oh my God, Sherley, you haven’t posted. Where have you been? I haven’t seen you.
10:34
I’m still around. still around. I just needed to take a hiatus that was necessary so I can allow myself to regroup, recharge, recoup and get back into the flow of things. But I’ll see you guys soon and have a great day. Thank you for tuning into the show. If you want to continue the conversation or share your takeaways, head on over to the website or join us on social media. I want to hear from you. Don’t forget to rate and subscribe to the podcast.
