Being upfront about who a framework isn’t for is one of the most trustworthy things a business can do. Here’s who T2P™ isn’t built for — and why saying so matters.
Most marketing is built to convince you that a product or program is right for you. I want to do the opposite for a moment, because I think it matters more. Trauma-to-Profit™ is not built for everyone, and I would rather tell you clearly who it isn’t for than let you spend money, time, or hope discovering that on your own.
This is not a hedge or a disclaimer buried in fine print. It is a genuine part of how I think this work should be marketed. A framework that claims to be right for absolutely everyone usually isn’t deeply right for anyone.
I’ve watched women invest time, money, and hope into programs that were never actually built for their situation, simply because the marketing was broad enough to make almost anyone feel like a fit. I don’t want that for you here. So before I tell you what T2P™ offers, I want to tell you plainly where it stops.
I’ve written about this distinction at length elsewhere, but it belongs on this list first because it’s the most important one. If what you need right now is clinical support — a licensed professional to help you process trauma, grief, or a mental health condition — T2P™ is not a substitute for that, and no amount of strategic framework will do that job. Please seek a licensed mental health professional if that is what you’re looking for. This methodology exists for the strategic work that comes after healing, not instead of it.
T2P™ is built entirely around the idea that your story should be shared with intention — with a clear sense of what you’re sharing, why, and what stays private. If what you actually want is permission to post everything, unfiltered, in real time, without thinking through the implications, this framework will feel restrictive to you, because it is designed to slow that impulse down, not accelerate it.
That is not a criticism of the impulse to share openly. It’s simply a mismatch. There are places for unfiltered, real-time processing — a journal, a therapist’s office, a close friend. A strategic business platform, built to last for years, generally isn’t one of them.
Part of what T2P™ asks of you is a genuine mindset shift — seeing your lived experience as something that can function as expertise, not just as something that happened to you. If you are not yet able to look at your story and imagine it serving someone else, rather than only representing your own private pain, this framework will feel premature. That’s not a permanent disqualification. It might just mean Pillar One, Recognize, needs more time before Pillar Five, Revenue, makes sense.
Building real authority and real income from lived experience is not a fast process, and I would be doing you a disservice if I marketed it as one. It requires the internal work of the earlier pillars before the external, revenue-generating work of the later ones makes sense. If you are looking for a shortcut — a template you can fill in this weekend and monetize by next month — this is not that kind of framework, and I’d rather tell you that now than have you discover it three weeks in, frustrated that the promised speed never arrived.
T2P™ is for the career woman — a nurse, a flight attendant, a corporate executive, a business owner, a beauty professional, any professional woman — who has years of expertise and a story she has never fully used, who has been through something that genuinely shaped how she sees the world, and who is ready to build a platform, podcast, or coaching practice from that combination. It’s for women who have already done real healing work, or are far enough along in that work to speak from it steadily, and who are looking for the strategic next step: how do I actually build something from this.
It is platform-agnostic, which matters — it applies whether you’re building a podcast, a coaching business, a speaking career, or a social media presence. The methodology teaches the underlying skill of turning lived experience into positioned authority; the platform you apply it to is up to you.
This one is more specific to how I’ve chosen to structure my own programs, rather than the broader T2P™ methodology itself. FastTrack, my flagship accelerator, is intentionally boutique — 15 seats, three cohorts a year — with a heavy emphasis on 1:1 strategy time rather than large group community. If what you’re primarily looking for is a big, bustling group of peers to build alongside, with frequent community touchpoints as the main draw, that’s not the primary experience FastTrack is built to deliver, even though a cohort of 15 does create real connection. I built it this way deliberately, prioritizing depth of individual attention over breadth of community, and I’d rather you know that upfront than expect something the program isn’t designed to be.
There’s a version of marketing that treats specificity about who something isn’t for as a liability — as though narrowing the audience shrinks the opportunity. I’ve found the opposite to be true. When I am honest about who T2P™ is not for, the women who are the right fit trust the rest of what I say more, not less. They understand that if I’m willing to turn some people away, I’m not just telling them what they want to hear about who it’s for, either.
I would rather have a smaller group of women who are genuinely served by this work than a larger group who bought something that was never going to fit their situation. That is not just an ethical stance — it is, frankly, better for retention, for word of mouth, and for the long-term reputation of everything I build.
There’s a longer-term business logic here too, beyond the ethics of it. A program with a strong, specific fit produces better outcomes, and better outcomes produce the kind of word-of-mouth that no amount of broad, vague marketing can replicate. Every woman who enrolls in FastTrack having genuinely understood who it’s for and who it’s not for is more likely to finish it, apply it, and tell someone else who’s also a genuine fit. That compounding effect only works because the boundary was honest in the first place.
None of these four exclusions were theoretical for me. Each came from watching a real woman enroll in something — sometimes my own programs, sometimes someone else’s — hoping it would solve a problem it was never built to solve. A woman looking for grief counseling who needed a therapist, not a content framework. A woman who wanted to post everything, immediately, and felt boxed in by any structure around it. A woman who signed up expecting a result within two weeks and left disappointed by month three, even though the work itself was going well by any reasonable measure.
Watching those mismatches happen repeatedly is what convinced me that being explicit upfront costs less, for everyone involved, than staying vague and hoping it works out. It rarely does. Clarity, even when it turns someone away, is kinder than false hope dressed up as universal applicability.
If you read through this and realized you’re closer to needing therapy right now than a business framework, please hear that as care, not rejection. Go get the support you need. This work will still be here. If you realized you’re not yet able to see your story as an asset, that’s Pillar One work, and it’s worth sitting with before you invest further. And if you realized the quick-fix expectation was doing some of the driving, I’d rather you know that now than three weeks into a program that was never built to move at that speed.
