FastTrack FAQ: Everything You’re Wondering Before You Apply

Every woman who lands on the FastTrack page reads it the same way — carefully, and with a running list of questions forming in her head. Some of those questions are answered on the page itself. Some aren’t, because a sales page can only hold so much before it stops being a sales page and starts being a manual. This is the manual. Below are the questions I hear most, answered as directly as I can manage.

I’ve tried to write these the way I’d actually answer them if you asked me in person — not the polished, pre-approved version, but the real one. If something here raises a follow-up question I didn’t cover, that’s exactly what the application process and a consultation call are for.

When do applications actually open?

Applications open approximately 60 days before each cohort begins, on a set three-times-a-year cycle. Waitlist members get first access and exclusive waitlist-only announcements before applications open to the general public — which matters, because seats are limited and the waitlist is genuinely the earliest signal you’ll get that the window is opening.

If you’re not on the waitlist yet, that’s the single most useful thing to do before anything else on this list. Everything downstream — timing, notifications, first access — flows from being on it.

A practical note on timing: because the application window is roughly two months, and review takes real time on my end, applying the day the window opens gives you the most breathing room. Applying in the final days before enrollment closes isn’t disqualifying, but it does compress the runway for both of us to have a real conversation if one is needed before a decision.

How many women are actually in each cohort?

Fifteen women maximum, and that number is intentional rather than a placeholder that might grow later. The small cohort size protects the depth of coaching, the quality of your 1:1 time, and the intimacy of the group itself — a topic worth its own deeper read if you want the full reasoning behind why cohorts stay deliberately small rather than scaling up.

Is FastTrack fully online, or is there an in-person component?

Fully online — there’s no in-person component or travel required. But “online” doesn’t mean every week looks the same. Week 1 opens with the 4-hour Live Intensive on Zoom. From there, the weekly structure shifts and blends between homework assignments you work through on your own, scheduled Zoom calls, and your dedicated 1:1 sessions — the rhythm changes depending on what that stretch of the program is asking of you, whether that’s recording, positioning, or launch prep.

So it isn’t a program where you’re on a live Zoom call every single week at the same cadence. Some weeks lean more heavily on independent work through the Workbook and Vault; others bring you back into a live room, whether that’s your 1:1 Strategy Session or the Group Mentorship Call. All of it happens digitally, and all of it is scheduled with real structure — just not identically every week.

This also means the only real requirement on your end is a stable internet connection and a quiet space for the live calls — no travel, no in-person intensive to plan around, no added cost of flights or hotels layered on top of the program itself. For a flight attendant, a traveling nurse, or any woman whose schedule doesn’t sit still, that flexibility is often what makes a structured program possible in the first place.

Do I need any podcasting experience to apply?

No. You need expertise in your career field — that’s the raw material FastTrack is built to turn into a show. The technical setup, the platform strategy, and the full launch framework are all taught inside the program itself. You bring the knowledge and the story; the how-to of actually building and launching a podcast is what FastTrack provides.

This is worth repeating because it’s the single most common hesitation I hear from women who are otherwise ready: “But I’ve never done anything like this before.” That’s expected, and it’s exactly what the 90 days are designed to close.

If anything, walking in with zero preconceived ideas about “how podcasting is supposed to work” is often an advantage. Women who come from a different industry entirely tend to trust the framework rather than trying to reverse-engineer it from something they half-remember hearing on a podcasting forum. Expertise in your field is the prerequisite. Expertise in podcasting is the outcome.

Why only three cohorts a year? Wouldn’t more cohorts mean more access?

Quality over volume. The intentional break between cohorts protects the depth of coaching every client receives and gives me the space to actually prepare for each new group rather than running back-to-back rounds on autopilot. Fifteen women, three times a year — that pacing is the standard I’ve built the whole program around, and it’s connected to the same philosophy behind the small cohort size itself.

What are the payment options?

FastTrack offers three ways to pay: one payment in full, two payments spaced 30 days apart, or three payments spaced 30 days apart. All three options grant the exact same access — the same Live Intensive, the same 1:1 Strategy Session, the same Vault and Workbook. Splitting the payment doesn’t mean a lesser version of the program; it simply spreads the cost in a way that’s more manageable for your budget. Current pricing is always listed on the FastTrack page itself, since it’s reviewed periodically as the program evolves.

What if I can’t make the Live Intensive or another live session?

The live sessions are core to how FastTrack works, which is part of why the application process asks about your realistic availability before you commit. I’d rather have that conversation honestly upfront than have you miss the single session that builds your entire show concept. If a genuine, unavoidable conflict comes up once you’re enrolled, that’s a conversation to have directly with me — but the honest answer is that showing up live is the expectation, not the exception, because the format depends on it.

Is there a refund policy?

All FastTrack sales are final. Because FastTrack includes instant and time-sensitive access to proprietary training, digital materials, templates, and live sessions, no refunds are issued under any circumstances — including change of mind, scheduling difficulty, personal circumstances, or not completing the program. This applies across every digital offer, not just FastTrack, and it’s a policy, not a rare exception.

I’d rather be direct about that here than have it come as a surprise later. If you miss a live session, the standard is that a replay is made available for a limited window rather than a refund — but the underlying policy is firm: once you enroll, that enrollment is final. What’s the actual weekly time commitment?

This isn’t formally published as a fixed number of hours, because it genuinely varies by week — the Live Intensive week and the recording weeks ask more of you than the lighter positioning weeks later on. What I can tell you honestly is that this is not a program you can succeed in by skimming a module during a lunch break. It asks for real, protected time, particularly around the Intensive, your 1:1 session, recording, and the Group Mentorship Call. If your current season of life doesn’t have room for that, it’s worth naming honestly in your application — that’s exactly the kind of fit question the application process exists to work through.

A rough way to think about it: treat the 90 days the way you’d treat a part-time commitment layered on top of your existing career, not a light hobby you dip into when you have a spare hour. Some weeks that means a few focused hours; the Live Intensive week means a full day. Knowing that going in is far better than discovering it midway through week four.

What happens after the 90 days end?

Your show is launched, positioned, and live — and every client who launches within the 90 days gets featured on Sherley’s Show platform and social media, giving your first push of visibility a running start rather than starting entirely from zero. What happens after that point is genuinely up to you: some graduates continue building independently with the Workbook and Vault as ongoing reference tools, and the relationships built inside a cohort often continue informally well past the program’s official end.

FastTrack is designed to get you to a real, public launch — not to hand-hold you indefinitely afterward. That’s an intentional boundary. The whole point of the 90-day structure is building the muscle of doing this yourself, so that by day 90 you’re not dependent on the program to keep going.

How is this different from just buying the eBook or free resources?

The eBook and free resources are self-paced education — genuinely useful, and the right starting point for a lot of women. FastTrack is coaching: live sessions, direct feedback on your specific show, a 1:1 session dedicated to your situation, and a structured deadline that a self-paced resource simply can’t replicate. Neither is objectively better; they solve different problems. If you learn well independently and mostly need the roadmap, start with the eBook.
